Denver Broncos Homecoming–Gary Kubiak Returns as Head Coach.

Gary Kubiak was the Offensive Coordinator for the Denver Broncos from 1995 through to 2005. From 2006 through to 2013, he was Head Coach for the Houston Texans. In 2014, Gary Kubiak served as the Offensive Coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens. On Sunday, January 11, 2015; The Denver Broncos lost to the Indianapolis Colts 24 to 13, eliminating the Bronco’ quest for the 2015 Super Bowl. It was shortly after the upsetting loss to The Colts, that the Denver Broncos fired Head Coach, John Fox.  A week later, John Elway, the Denver Broncos former quarterback, and current General Manager, hired Gary Kubiak to be the Denver Broncos new Head Coach starting in the Fall of 2015.

On October 19th, as the Denver Broncos were preparing to play the San Francisco 49er’s, The Bronco’s Quarterback, Peyton Manning , was three touchdown passes away from breaking Brett Farve’s record of 508 Career Touchdown Passes. Manning was able to connect with the three touchdown passes he heeded to set a new record before halftime.  Peyton Manning’s 509 completed Touchdown pass was completed to Demaryius Thomas.

What is Punxutawney Phil’s Prediction Here?

What is Punxutawney Phil's Predictions Here?

Groundhog Day 2014 is also Super Bowl Sunday 2014. I don’t know about Punxutawney Phil, but I am rooting for my Denver Broncos to win today.

NEXT DAY–After Super Bowl Sunday (Feb. 3, 2014):

Seattle– 43

Denver– 8

Oh well, you can’t win them all. As much as I would have liked to see the Denver Broncos play better and win the Super Bowl, the Seattle Seahawks did deserve to win. They played the very best defense I have ever seen any NFL Team play, and there offense was spot on as well.

Broncos Season 2012-13

With Future Hall of Fame Quarterback, Peyton Manning at the helm, The Denver Broncos had one of their best seasons in a long long time. The Denver Broncos finished the 2012-13 NFL Season with 13 Wins and 3 Losses, with Manning winning the NFL Comeback Player of the Year Award. They were eliminated from the play-offs far to early by a heartbreaking loss to the Baltimore Ravens, but they were eliminated by the team that went on to win it all. The Baltimore Ravens won the 2013 Super Bowl by defeating the San Francisco 49er’s 34 to 31.
